La rupe bed and breakfast
My Story
The Bed And Breakfast "La Rupe" originates from a skilled renovation of a historic building located in the historic center of Norma, specifically in the "Porticina" area. It is said that Mrs. Annamaria lived here, who during wartime had the task from her window overlooking the Pontine countryside to announce the arrival of enemies. Hence the name of the room "La Vedetta" with a view over the entire Pontine plain. It is with great pleasure that my family and I welcome you to B&B La Rupe and to Norma. What I love most about my job is that for each client, it is necessary to create a hairstyle that suits them. Similarly, for each guest at Our B&B, it is essential to quickly understand their needs to offer a pleasant stay. The Historic Area where the B&B is located is called the Porticina precisely because there was a small entrance door to access it. The B&B is right inside the quarter where you can visit the Annibale Saggi Civic Museum, which aims to illustrate the life and history of the ancient city of Norba and proposes the reconstruction of a Roman city from the Republican era. Photographic images, photocolors, reconstructive casts, and models offer visitors knowledge of the ancient city, its monuments, the research conducted there, and the findings made. The museum also benefits from the most advanced communication techniques: numerous video stations with films are active within the exhibition circuit, offering, through "virtual reality," the reconstruction of streets, public and private buildings, and everyday life. Furthermore, nearby, you will find Piazza di Pietra, where looking out will amaze you, and on clearer days, you can see the Pontine Islands.
